Flavorganics' journey started one hundred years ago in 1922 as its parent company was a supplier to the food and cosmetic industries. Through four generations of flavor craft, Flavorganics was created by Julie Weisman (third generation of family), as a line of organic extracts. They are packed in amber glass with colorful labeling to pop on the shelf!
Julie developed the first organic vanilla available in commercial quantities. She has served on the NOSB and OTA, helping shape policy as well as been active on the vanilla subcommittee of FEMA and serving on the board of women in flavor and fragrance.
All Flavorganics extracts are tested in our laboratories for uniformity and quality and from our beginning one hundred years ago we have created relationships with our growers and curers at origin and suppliers, many of which we still work with today.
Through the years our classic flavors were developed that have withstood the test of time.
