When Pigs Fly was founded in 1993 in York, ME with a mission to provide the community with freshly baked sourdough breads made from all natural ingredients. Our company believes in baking artisanal breads that contain quality, top of the line ingredients everyone knows and has heard of.
With our 25-year-old sourdough starter, we serve a need by providing health-conscious bread eaters with a healthier gut friendly bread option without having to sacrifice great taste. We use authentic type I starter and have a unique company name that piques customer interest to help us effectively tell our story.
Our brand is growing rapidly as consumers are becoming more educated on the health benefits of sourdough-based breads, and we've complimented this with building out aggressive sales and marketing teams to further push our sourdough mission.
