The Non-GMO Project, established in 2007, empowers eaters with transparency about their food through North America’s leading GMO avoidance verification. Expanding our commitment to create a retail food system that promotes and restores health in humans, communities, and the broader collective of life on Earth, we launched the Food Integrity Collective in 2024. This year, the Non-GMO Project introduces the Non-UPF Verified program, focused on identifying minimally processed foods. Together, these initiatives support brands in meeting the growing demand for informed choices, reinforcing trust and transparency. Just as the Non-GMO Project butterfly symbolizes conscious food choices, Non-UPF Verified guides consumers toward nourishing, less processed options, uniting three programs under one mission.
