Founded in 2008, Ancient Organics began in a home kitchen with a simple intention: to craft truly exceptional ghee. As demand grew, it became clear that the exquisite qualities of our ghee resonated deeply with those who tasted it. What started small soon evolved from a shared kitchen to our first dedicated production space in Berkeley, California.

In 2024, we reached a new milestone with the launch of the world’s largest Certified Organic ghee facility in Newman, California, located in the heart of the Central Valley.

We source exclusively from California’s Northern Coast and New Zealand. Our dairy partners are small scale, award winning producers committed to animal welfare, independent craftsmanship, and regenerative dairy practices.

We honor ancient tradition through sustainable sourcing, slow kettle cooking, and artisanal filtering. These time honored methods create a ghee with remarkable depth of flavor, beautiful aroma, and signature golden appearance.
