Information
San-J is a manufacturer of premium tamari soy sauce that first began in Japan in 1804. Started importing to the US in the 70's and in 1987 built a factory in Henrico, VA. Henrico was chosen based on the convenient location and climate similar to Mie Japan where it started. SInce then the factory underwent and expansion due to consumer demands and makes Asian cooking sauce, Splash Umami Tamari and a No Soy Tamari.
