Grupo SAMA, founded in the late 1990s by beekeeper Samuel Lima Araújo in Oeiras, Piauí, Brazil, began with SAMEL, pioneering beekeeping in the Northeast. By the mid-2000s, it became Brazil's top honey exporter and the world's leading organic honey supplier.
Now encompassing SAMEL, S&A Honey, Lamberhoney, and Agroindústria Botão de Sola, with operations in Piauí, São Paulo, and nationwide expansion, Grupo SAMA employs over 200 professionals. Committed to sustainability, we use organic, pesticide-free beekeeping and farmer training.
