A little over 40 years ago, a small family-owned company was born in Mossoró, Rio Grande do Norte... This is a story that began when Francisco Assis Neto realized his biggest dream . In 1979, a small cashew nut processing factory was born. Usibras was born there . But like any newly achieved dream, we soon realized that it wasn't enough. And what we thought was the final destination became just the beginning of something much bigger to come. At the time, we didn't know exactly what to expect from the future, but we decided to create a new vision: to be one of the largest cashew nut processors in the world.

Today, more than four decades after its inception, Usibras is a cashew nut processor with a global presence. With four locations spread around the world, two in Brazil and the others in New Jersey and Ghana, it's hard to believe that what began as just a family dream has become a huge success throughout Brazil.
