Olizzi was founded in 2020 with a clear but ambitious goal: to introduce the world to high-quality Turkish extra virgin olive oil and redefine how it is experienced in modern life.
The brand was born from a deep personal connection to food and olive oil. Growing up in a Mediterranean household, olive oil was never just an ingredient—it was part of daily life. The founder's mother, a food engineer, emphasized natural, high-quality fats in cooking, while the founder's father, a surgeon, often spoke about olive oil as part of a balanced and healthy diet. Despite this cultural proximity, it became clear over time that Turkish olive oil—despite Türkiye being one of the world's top producers—was largely absent from premium global markets.
This gap became impossible to ignore while living and working internationally, particularly in the United States. After extensive research, sensory training, and close collaboration with producers, Olizzi was created to represent Turkish olive oil with the quality, transparency, and confidence it deserves.
From the beginning, quality was non-negotiable. Olizzi oils are 100% Turkish origin, cold pressed, and approved through professional sensory analysis to ensure superior standards. The brand launched simultaneously in Türkiye and the USA and quickly gained traction, including placement at Erewhon in Los Angeles—an important milestone that validated Olizzi's positioning in the premium segment.
Today, Olizzi operates across the USA, UAE, Türkiye, Japan, and South Korea. Olizzi Premium Organic remains the brand's flagship and best-performing product, while Olizzi Baby Organic has become a trusted choice among Mediterranean families for its smooth, gentle profile.
