Amazon Polpas Ind e Com de Polpas da Amazonia ltda

Information

The origin of Amazon Polpas is an inspiring story of a family business that grew into a major industry.

It all began with the patriarch of the Mota family, who worked with his truck unloading açaí at the famous Ver-O-Peso market in Belém. After his passing, his son took over and, in addition to transportation, began selling the açaí fruit.

Through years of hard work, the business that started with a small truck soon became a small fleet. This was when the ambitious project of building their own açaí factory emerged. After selling the fleet of trucks and purchasing a property, the first Amazon Polpas plant was established in 2005.

Over the years, the company expanded and established itself as a leading business, with a focus on quality and technological innovation. It now has 28 distribution centers throughout the country and two processing facilities, one in the state of Pará and another in the state of Amapá, the birthplace of açaí.

The project, which originated from a humble family in the city of Castanhal, in the interior of Pará, began reaching the world in 2015, starting with the export of açaí to the United States, Europe, and Japan. As a result, the company expanded its product portfolio to meet the needs of its customers in both domestic and international markets.

Today, Amazon Polpas has become one of the largest açaí industries in Brazil, continuing to grow and innovate while remaining true to its origins, its love for the Amazon, and its passion for açaí. The company has become a symbol of excellence in the sector, offering high-quality products that have earned the trust of consumers throughout the country.

The history of this family-owned company, which began with the work of one man and evolved into an industry that is now considered one of the major references in the country, is a testament to the commitment and entrepreneurial spirit of this family.
